Zhou Shaobo
ZHOU Shaobo (???) (Born 1962)
Zhou Shaobo was born in Congzhou, Guangxi in 1962,
and was enlisted in 321 Infantry Division, PLA, as a film projector
from 1979 to 1986. During his service in the army, he participated in
the China-Vietnam War as a war correspondent. In 1990, Zhou Shaobo
finished studying in the Art Department, Nanjing Arts Institute, and
become a part-time artist. From 1993 to 1994, while sojourning in
Yuanmingyuang Artist Village in Beijing, Zhou took up frame-making as a
profession.
Zhou Shaobo works are mainly documented films of his performance art, some of which include Build Our Paradise and Vietnam.
